SCAT, Shoreline Clean-up Assessment Teams, snorkel off the shores of Gulf Shores, AL on September 11, 2010 to look for sub tidal oil. As part of the search they are using shovels to dig up to 18 inches below the gulf floor in search for buried oil. They did find several places with suspicious looking materiel.
